About Sanmukh Khelmantra (SKPL)
A sports organisation working out of Gandhinagar, putting the people who make sport happen onto one list.
Why we exist
Sport in Gujarat is not short of people. It is short of a way to find them. A school planning a tournament needs referees. A club needs a coach for the season. A college needs a physiotherapist on match day. In practice all of it runs on personal contacts, which only works if you already know the right person.
Meanwhile there are teachers, coaches, players and officials in every taluka who are qualified, available, and never hear that the work exists.
Sanmukh Khelmantra (SKPL) exists to close that gap. We register professionals as Associates, at no cost, and connect them with the institutions looking for exactly what they do.
Fit People, Hit Nation
Our mission borrows the country's own framing. Personal fitness adds up to national strength. That belief sits behind the Fit India movement, and it sits behind us.
It also sets the scope of the work. We are not only interested in competition. Health checks, fitness assessments, yoga therapy, nutrition guidance, activities for children and older people, and the upkeep of grounds and gyms all belong to the same idea.

Sport is organised as a ladder, and qualified people are needed at every rung of it. We work across all six.

What we are working towards
Respectable employment
Proper work and fair pay for people in sport, so that coaching and officiating can be a livelihood rather than a favour.
Trained officials
Advanced training, so Gujarat has enough qualified coaches, referees, umpires and judges at every level of competition.
Sport-specific conditioning
Training and exercise matched to the demands of each sport, rather than one generic routine handed to everybody.
Grounds that stay usable
A team of specialists who build and maintain playing surfaces, grounds and gym facilities.
Yoga across the board
A body of yoga experts covering schools, workplaces and communities, with duties assigned according to capacity.
Traditional games kept alive
Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Malkhamb and the rest — coached properly, staffed properly, and back on school calendars.
